Welcome! and Thank You! for visiting with us.

This simple webpage is designed to explain why you have been asked to visit this page and complete the initial
survey and give you an overview for the survey.
Why were you asked to complete this survey?
First, you were asked to complete this survey to help us better understand the needs of the business owners,
executives, community leaders, and team members in our community.
You see, we have a lot of ideas and lots of proven training material. But, if we just threw it out there, we would end
up wasting your time, our time, and a lot of effort. So, we wanted to go to the people who we intend to serve, get
their thoughts and needs, and then provide the material and information that will best meet those needs.
Second, some of you have material that you have developed, tested, and proven. So, we would like to understand
what that material is and see if we can team up with you to contribute to the needs of the people who fill out this
simple survey. As they say, "No one of us is as good as all of us put together!"
Third, we want to get to know you better so that we can serve you better. Here we need information like which part
of the Atlanta Metro Area you live in, as well as what area you work in. By gathering this information, we will offer
what you need where and when you need it. We do not want to offer a program in Athens when the need is greatest
in Buckhead or Peachtree City.
What types of information will be collected in this survey?
To start out, we will collect basic demographic and scheduling information that will help us place our training in the
right locations and the right time day and the right day of the week. These questions include topics like: Where you
live (General area, not specifics...), where you work (ditto), what time and what days you would prefer to participate
in an event, etc.
NOTE: Very little of this information is required. If you don't feel comfortable giving it, don't give it. But, the
more you are able to give, the better we will be able to meet the needs of the community.
Next, we will get some basic information about you, your background in business and/or community service, etc.
Then, we will ask about your interests and needs. We have some standard questions here and then we give you
some room to give us your thoughts in case we left something out.
Last, we will give you the option of participating in additional surveys, giving us additional feedback, and/or being
notified of upcoming events.
At this point, we see one or two additional surveys in the future. The first will be for other trainers and service
providers so that we can understand what their backgrounds are and what they have to offer the community. The
second will be to clarify the needs and interests of the people in the community. Here, depending on the feedback
we get on the first high level survey, we may need to ask more questions of those of you who we hope to serve.
Also, these surveys may either be online, like this one, or they may be telephone surveys. This depends on the
nature of the questions we need answered.
Notification of future events will come in the form of an e-mail message or an e-newsletter. Each of these will have
an "opt-out" option. This way, if you think you are getting too much junk mail from us, then you can take your name
off of the list by clicking on a link. We don't like junk mail any more than you do. So, we don't see this growing
beyond a monthly newsletter and a reminder once every two weeks or once a week at the most.
Again, how much you complete is up to you. If you don't feel comfortable answering some questions, skip them and
fill out the ones that you can.
How will we use, and more importantly, how will we protect this information?
The information we gather will go to one person on our team. That person will add the data to the summary file,
archive the original response in a location where only that person and Lee Huffman, our CEO, have access, and
provide summarized information and trend data to others in the team on a need-to-know basis only.
If, down the road, you want to share the information that you input into this survey with someone else, you will have
to re-create it. We will not give anyone access to your specific data outside of Lee and the person who will be
summarizing the data for our use.
Our Promise
We promise that we will protect your information as if it were our own. We all get enough spam and junk e-mail and
we are committed to not put you in a situation where you could get even more.
We promise to use the information you provide to us only in the ways we have outlined on this page. We will never
sell, or even give, your information to anyone.
There is one exception to this second promise. If you are a trainer or service provider and your services match the
needs and interests of the people who receive our newsletter, we may, with your permission, provide the contact
information you give us to our readers. Also, as the Professional Development websites we are developing are
completed, we may offer service providers who participate in this program a link from our website to yours.
Note: This survey is hosted by www.TheBusinessCatalyst.com. Future surveys and information will be hosted
on our new websites which are under development.
So, "THANK YOU" again for helping us by completing
